Parking spaces cordoned off by yourself are invalid and can cause trouble. We set up an official no-parking zone in Moabit – application with the responsible authority, signage, checks and removal from a single source.
Moabit is a district of the Berlin borough of Mitte. From our base in Berlin-Wedding it is approx. 3.5 km, about 10 minutes in normal traffic. Postcode(s): 10551, 10553, 10555, 10557, 10559, 13353.
Moabit combines Wilhelminian-era neighbourhoods with the main station, the Spree river and the Arminiusmarkthalle; the Kleiner Tiergarten adds green space.
These streets and landmarks matter when planning a no-parking zone:
In densely built period neighbourhoods in Moabit, parking is scarce and entrances often open directly onto narrow streets. Without a no-stopping zone you get long carrying routes or double parking – both cost time and nerves.
We are also active in the neighbouring places Wedding, Charlottenburg and Gesundbrunnen.
Costs consist of official fees plus the effort of applying for, putting up and collecting the signs, and depend on length, duration and street. Tell us the address and date – you receive a clear, non-binding quote.
We recommend applying about 14 days before the moving date. The signs must generally be in place at least 72 hours before the start for the parking ban to be effective.
We set up no-parking zones in residential side streets as well as on larger roads such as Alt-Moabit, Turmstraße, Stromstraße, Perleberger Straße. Larger roads often have stricter requirements; we check your address in advance.
